The Participants
CougLink is intended for first-year students as a resource for making a successful transition to WSU.
-
Participation is voluntary
-
Communication with Leaders will occur weekly through contact via:
o Face to face meetings/programs
o Phone
o Email
o Facebook or Myspace
-
CougLink Leaders will help students who want to be involved in campus activities connect with their interest groups.

CougLink is a voluntary program and, as such, places no academic or personal requirements on participants. To make the most of this experience, though, students will generally be expected to meet or communicate regularly with their Leader, participate in activities and discussion sessions with other participants.
Not only will participants get a chance to connect with their Group Leaders, but also with all of the other students participating in CougLink. Activities will range from one on one to large group events.
There will be a large reception during the Week of Welcome to all program partcipants to campus and to the program.
